The UFC officially released three fighters from their contracts on Monday. The cuts were Vaughan Lee, Hugo Viana, and Alan Omer.
Vaughn lost his last two fights, to Iuri Alcantara and Patrick Holohan. Hugo Viana lost in his last two octagon appearances, to Aljamain Sterling and Guido Cannetti. Alan Omer also lost his last two bouts, to Jim Alers and Arnold Allen.
Both Lee and Viana had lost to UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw in the span of less than a year.
